Our Pastor

Dr. James W. Dieujuste

God has blessed Dr. James Wesly Dieujuste in countless ways. Born in Haiti to Seventh-day Adventist parents, he counts it a privilege to have received a Christian Adventist education.

In 2001, Dr. Dieujuste received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Boston University. He then worked in sales, investment management and real estate.

After working for several years in the business field, the Lord called him into pastoral ministry. In 2010, Dr. Dieujuste received a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and subsequently received a call to work in the Lake Region Conference pastoring churches in Michigan and Illinois. In 2014, he was ordained into gospel ministry. In 2018, he received a second Master’s degree in Religion with a concentration in Theological Studies from Andrews University.

In 2018, the Lord called him to return to the Northeast area. Upon his return to Massachusetts, he worked as a teacher for one year at Berea Seventh-day Adventist Academy (now Northeastern Adventist Academy, Boston Campus). He was then called by the Northeastern Conference to serve as the Associate Pastor of Temple Salem Seventh-day Adventist Church. In 2023, he received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business Administration from the University of Montemorelos in Mexico. Dr. Dieujuste has served in pastoral ministry for 13 years and is currently the pastor of Bridgeport Tabernacle Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Dr. Dieujuste is married to a wonderful woman of God and has two amazing sons. He loves the Lord and is committed to serve Him all the days of his life. He believes that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is very near and he desires to be personally ready to meet Him and help others to the same.
